Agreement to Terms
By accessing The Wyoming Reserve website and opening a storage account, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Storage Agreement, and all applicable federal and state laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.
These Terms of Service govern the use of this website only. Actual storage services are subject to a separate Storage Agreement that will be executed upon account opening.
Description of Services
The Wyoming Reserve provides high-security precious metals vaulting and Foreign Trade Zone services in Casper, Wyoming. Our services include:
- Allocated Storage: Secure, partitioned storage where clients own specific serial-numbered precious metals (not pooled)
- Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) Services: Tariff deferral and duty-free storage for international and domestic precious metals
- Precious Metals IRA: IRS-approved depository services for gold, silver, platinum, and palladium retirement accounts
- Class 3 Vault Security: Highest level of physical security with 24/7 surveillance and armed guards
- Quarterly External Audits: Verification by Alfred H. Knight and annual audits by FORVIS
- Blockchain Integration: Tamper-proof digital record keeping and transparency
Account Requirements
To open a storage account with The Wyoming Reserve, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age or a legally recognized entity
- Provide accurate identity verification documents as required by law
- Complete Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) verification
- Agree to the terms of the Storage Agreement
- Provide payment for storage fees as outlined in your Storage Agreement
- For IRA accounts: work with an IRS-approved custodian
Client Responsibilities
When using our storage services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about the precious metals you wish to store
- Ensure all stored metals are legally acquired and owned
- Pay all storage fees and related charges on time
- Maintain accurate contact information for account notifications
- Notify us immediately of any discrepancies in account records
- Comply with all Foreign Trade Zone regulations (for FTZ clients)
- Follow IRS regulations for Precious Metals IRA accounts
Storage Terms and Access
Storage Duration: Storage is provided on a month-to-month basis unless otherwise specified in your Storage Agreement.
Physical Access: Clients do not have direct physical access to stored metals. All deposits and withdrawals are processed through our secure procedures with proper authentication.
Withdrawals: Withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing with appropriate notice (typically 5-10 business days). Foreign Trade Zone withdrawals are subject to customs procedures.
Verification: Clients receive quarterly audit reports and can request blockchain verification at any time.
Foreign Trade Zone Compliance
Clients using Foreign Trade Zone services must comply with all applicable U.S. Customs and Border Protection regulations, including:
- Proper documentation of all metals entering the FTZ
- Compliance with FTZ Board regulations
- Payment of applicable duties upon withdrawal from the FTZ (if not re-exported)
- Adherence to FTZ record-keeping requirements
The Wyoming Reserve acts as the FTZ operator and will assist with compliance, but ultimate responsibility for regulatory compliance rests with the client.
Fees and Payment
Storage fees are detailed in your Storage Agreement and may include:
- Monthly storage fees based on weight or value
- Initial setup and account opening fees
- Handling fees for deposits and withdrawals
- Transportation and insurance fees (if applicable)
- FTZ-specific administrative fees
Failure to pay storage fees may result in account suspension or lien against stored metals as permitted by Wyoming law.
Limitations of Liability
While The Wyoming Reserve maintains the highest security standards and comprehensive insurance, our liability is subject to the following limitations:
- Our liability for loss or damage is limited to the documented value of stored metals as recorded in your account
- We are not liable for losses due to market fluctuations in precious metals prices
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
- Acts of God, war, terrorism, or government action beyond our control
- Client failure to maintain accurate records or respond to account notifications

Security and Insurance
The Wyoming Reserve maintains:
- Class 3 high-security vault certification
- 24/7 armed security and surveillance
- Comprehensive insurance coverage for stored metals
- Multi-layer access controls and authentication systems
- Regular third-party security audits
Insurance coverage details are provided in your Storage Agreement and are available upon request.
Website Use
You may not:
- Use our website for any unlawful purpose
- Submit false or misleading information in account applications
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other client accounts
- Interfere with the security or proper functioning of the website
- Use automated systems to scrape or harvest data from our website
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, trademarks, and software, is the property of The Wyoming Reserve and is protected by United States and international copyright and trademark laws. The Wyoming Reserve name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of our company.
Account Termination
The Wyoming Reserve reserves the right to refuse service or terminate storage accounts if:
- Storage fees remain unpaid after proper notice
- Client provides false or fraudulent information
- Client violates federal or state laws or regulations
- Client conduct threatens the security or operations of our facility
- Required by law enforcement or regulatory agencies
Upon termination, clients will be given reasonable notice to arrange withdrawal of stored metals, subject to payment of all outstanding fees.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service and all Storage Agreements are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming. Any disputes shall be resolved through:
- Good faith negotiation between the parties
- Binding arbitration in Casper, Wyoming (if negotiation fails)
- The courts of Natrona County, Wyoming (for matters not subject to arbitration)
Clients agree to waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits and agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis.

Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated to account holders via email. Changes will be effective 30 days after posting unless a different effective date is specified. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms of Service.
For existing Storage Agreements, material changes may require a signed amendment to your agreement.
